Motorola DROID BIONIC Review

The device shape and build has similarities to both the exterior designs of the Motorola Droid X2 and Droid Pro 3 smartphones melded into one device. When you pick up the Bionic, you’ll immediately notice its high-quality feel and sturdy construction. Measuring 5 inches long by 2.63 inches wide by 0.43 inch thick, the actual Droid Bionic isn’t exactly a tiny handset, either, but it’s certainly much slimmer.

Internally the Bionic is powered by a TI OMAP 1GHz Dual-core processor with 16GB of on board memory and a 16GB pre-installed Micro-SD card that gives us a 32GB grand total. Thanks to the Droid Bionic’s 1GHz dual-core processor, screens and pages just flew by as we scrolled and swiped around. Taking formatting and everything else into account you’ll have about 23GB of empty space ready to accept your music and videos and whatever else you want to apply here, with about 4GB for apps.

Done up in the same glossy gray color scheme, the Droid Bionic sports a 4.3-inch display, covered in Gorilla Glass. It’s crisp, clear, and colorful. We enjoyed the vibrant graphics and sharp 960×540-pixel resolution.
The camera is an 8 MP camera withdual LED flash. The picture quality is quite solid but still not as good as we’ve seen on other 5-megapixel shooter like the iPhone 4. The camera also support for 1080p HD video capture an LED flash. Color is vibrant and the picture quality was sharp for the most part. There is also a front-facing camera for video conference apps and the occasional self-portrait.

The Motorola Droid Bionic comes with a huge 1735 mAh battery on board. Motorola clocks the talk time at up 650 mins., with a standby time of up to 200 hours.
